Cotinus coggygria Royal Purple

DESCRIPTION: A small deciduous tree with dark purple foliage through spring and summer then turns bright red and claret in autumn. Long plumes of tiny, purplish flowers form a smoke effect during summer.

TREE CARE: Plant in well drained and worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until the tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after the new growth.
